One museum, three exhibition sites!
Frey-Haus | Steintorturm | Gotisches Haus
The heart of Stadtmuseum Brandenburg an der Havel is the Frey-Haus with its outbuildings – a baroque townhouse jewel in the centre of the old town.
The exhibition in the main building presents the recent history of the city in the 20th and 21st centuries, the events of which are still shaping the life of Brandenburg's citizens today. The coach house contains an exhibition on the more than one hundred year-old tradition of toy-making in Brandenburg an der Havel that will get children and collectors alike excited by the tin and Lineol toys „Made in Brandenburg an der Havel“.
Archaeological finds and an alchemist's workshop from the Baroque period are displayed in the nearby Gotisches Haus.
The medieval Steintorturm accommodates the exhibition on Havel shipping on four floors.
